Your 3 days desert tour from Agadir begins with a pickup from your hotel or Agadir Airport. The road first leads inland through the fertile Souss Valley, passing argan trees and traditional Berber villages.

The first stop is Taroudant, a historic town surrounded by impressive red walls. Often called “Little Marrakech,” Taroudant offers a charming medina and lively souks where you can experience authentic Moroccan daily life.

The journey continues toward Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient fortified village has served as the backdrop for many international films and series.

After exploring the kasbah, travel to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here you may visit the Atlas Film Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah before spending the night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, continue along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the palm groves of Skoura and the fragrant Rose Valley of Kalaat M’Gouna.

The route then leads to Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural landscapes. Towering canyon walls rise dramatically above the riverbed, creating a perfect place for a short walk and photographs.

After visiting the gorge, the journey continues through Tinjdad and Erfoud, known for fossils and date production.

By late afternoon, arrive at Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi mark the beginning of the Sahara. Here your camel trekking adventure begins.

The road then passes through Taznakht, famous for its traditional Berber carpets, before continuing toward Agadir.
