Depending on your arrival time, you may begin exploring Tangier’s highlights, including the old medina, the seafront, or a panoramic viewpoint over the Strait of Gibraltar. After breakfast, leave Tangier and head into the Rif Mountains. On the way, stop at Akchour, a peaceful natural area known for its river, green valley, and fresh mountain scenery. Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most fascinating cities. With a local guide, discover the old medina, Al Qarawiyyin University, traditional tanneries, madrasas, artisan quarters, and important city landmarks. You will also enjoy panoramic views over the medina before returning to your accommodation. Overnight in Fes.

Leave Fes and head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its clean streets and alpine-style architecture, then continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques can often be seen. After passing Midelt, the road descends toward the impressive Ziz Valley. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where your camel trek into the dunes begins. Watch the sunset over Erg Chebbi and spend the night in a desert camp.

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast. Today you discover the Merzouga area by 4x4, including visits to nomadic families, Khamlia village with its Gnawa music, desert landscapes, and nearby oases. After breakfast, continue to Rissani, known for its traditional market and old desert-town atmosphere. From there, drive through palm groves and rocky landscapes toward Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural sites. Travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing Kalaat M’Gouna and Skoura. Visit Kasbah Amridil before continuing to Ouarzazate, where you may stop at the film studios or Taourirt Kasbah. Then visit Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech. On the final day, travel back north toward Tangier. On the way, stop in Asilah, a charming coastal town known for its whitewashed medina and artistic atmosphere.
