Your 5-day Agadir desert trip begins with a pickup from your hotel or Agadir Airport. The journey heads north through the countryside toward the famous imperial city of Marrakech.

After arrival, meet your local guide for a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit some of Marrakech’s most important landmarks including the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Continue to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, before heading to the lively Jemaa El-Fna Square, known for its storytellers, musicians, and vibrant street atmosphere.

After exploring the medina and souks, transfer to your riad or hotel for the night in Marrakech.

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and begin crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The road winds through mountain villages and breathtaking landscapes.

Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient fortified village has served as a filming location for many international movies and series.

After exploring the kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, where you may visit the famous Atlas Film Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

In the afternoon, travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the palm groves of Skoura and the Rose Valley of Kalaat M’Gouna, famous for its annual rose festival.

Arrive in Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a traditional kasbah hotel.

After breakfast, continue the journey through the valley landscapes toward Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sites. The canyon walls rise dramatically to around 300 meters, creating a spectacular place for walking and photography.

From Todra, continue through desert villages such as Tinjdad and Jorf, where ancient irrigation systems still support local agriculture.

In the afternoon, reach Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here you will begin a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, the dunes glow with golden colors, creating one of the most beautiful moments of the journey.

Arrive at your desert camp, where dinner will be served followed by traditional Berber music around the campfire. Overnight stay in the Sahara.

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a peaceful and unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, ride the camels back to Merzouga village and continue toward Rissani, a historic town known for its lively traditional market and role as an important trading center in the Tafilalet region.

The journey then continues through Alnif and Nkob, passing desert plateaus and small villages before reaching the lush Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley, lined with palm trees and ancient kasbahs.

After panoramic stops along the valley, continue through Agdz toward Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Agadir.

The road first passes through Taznakht, a town famous for its traditional Berber carpets and artisan workshops. Continue to Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, where saffron is cultivated in the surrounding mountains.

The journey continues to Taroudant, a historic city surrounded by impressive defensive walls and often called “Little Marrakech.” Here you may explore the local market and admire the city’s traditional atmosphere.

By late afternoon, arrive back in Agadir, where your 5-day desert trip from Agadir concludes with a transfer to your hotel or the airport.
