Your 4-day journey from Marrakech to Rabat begins with an early pick-up from your accommodation. The road quickly climbs into the High Atlas Mountains, where the landscapes change from red plains to green valleys and mountain villages.

After crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the route continues toward Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient ksar is one of Morocco’s most photographed locations and has appeared in many international films.

After visiting the kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert. From there, travel through the palm groves of Skoura and the Valley of Roses before arriving in Dades Valley.

In the late afternoon, stop to admire the dramatic rock formations known as the Monkey Fingers and the winding road overlooking the valley.

After breakfast, continue toward Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco. The canyon walls rise hundreds of meters above the riverbed, creating a beautiful place for a short walk and photos.

The journey then continues through small desert towns and palm groves toward Erfoud, known for fossils and dates, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.

In the afternoon, meet your camel guide and begin a camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun begins to set, the desert landscape turns golden and the silence of the Sahara becomes unforgettable.

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at camp.

After returning by camel, begin the drive toward northern Morocco. Stop in Erfoud and then travel through the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of the country’s most beautiful palm oases.

Continue toward Midelt, where you may stop for lunch before entering the Middle Atlas Mountains. In the cedar forest near Azrou, you may see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

Before reaching Fes, pass through Ifrane, a mountain town known for its European-style architecture and cool climate.

After breakfast, depart from Fes and drive to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Here you can visit Bab Mansour, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the historic royal granaries.

After exploring Meknes, continue toward Rabat, Morocco’s capital city.

In Rabat, visit some of the city’s main landmarks including Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The tour ends with drop-off at your accommodation or the airport in Rabat.
