On arrival in Marrakech, your driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have free time to relax or enjoy a first walk in the medina.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward southern Morocco. The road climbs through the High Atlas Mountains and crosses the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with beautiful views of valleys and Berber villages along the way.

Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s best-known kasbahs and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After visiting the ksar, drive through Ouarzazate and continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.

Pass through Skoura and Kalaat M’Gouna, known for its rose products, before arriving in Dades Valley, famous for its unusual rock formations and mountain scenery.

After breakfast, continue toward Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco. The canyon walls rise dramatically above the riverbed and create a beautiful place for a short walk.

The route then continues through desert towns and palm groves toward Erfoud, known for dates and fossils, before reaching Merzouga.

In the late afternoon, meet your camel guide and begin a camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stop to enjoy the sunset before continuing to your desert camp.

Wake early to see the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, spend the day discovering the Merzouga area.

Visit nomadic families living near the desert, enjoy local hospitality, and learn more about life in the Sahara. Continue to Khamlia village, known for its traditional Gnawa music, and explore the nearby oasis and desert landscapes.

This day offers a deeper look at the region beyond the dunes.

Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel near Merzouga.

After breakfast, leave the desert and head north. Stop in Rissani, known for its traditional market and old desert-town atmosphere, then continue through the Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful palm oases.

After lunch in Midelt, continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in the cedar forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques are often seen, then continue through Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture.

Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon.

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes with a local guide. Visit the historic medina, the famous Bab Boujloud, traditional tanneries, madrasas, artisan quarters, and the exterior of Al Qarawiyyin, one of the world’s oldest universities.

You will also enjoy panoramic views over the medina from one of the city’s viewpoints before returning to your riad.

Overnight stay in Fes.

After breakfast, drive toward Volubilis, one of the best-preserved Roman archaeological sites in Morocco. Explore the ancient ruins and mosaics, then continue to Meknes, one of the imperial cities.

Visit key landmarks such as Bab Mansour and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, then continue through the Rif region toward Chefchaouen.

On arrival, enjoy a walk through the blue-painted medina and its peaceful streets.

After breakfast, enjoy a little more time in Chefchaouen before driving toward Akchour, a beautiful natural area in the Rif Mountains known for its river and green surroundings.

Continue to Tangier, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Visit Hercules Cave, Cape Spartel, and, if time allows, part of the old medina.

After breakfast, leave Tangier and head south along the Atlantic coast. Stop in Asilah, a charming coastal town known for its relaxed medina and whitewashed walls.

Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.

After breakfast, continue to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Here you can visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, one of the most important landmarks in the country.

After Casablanca, return to Marrakech for the evening.
