Your 5 day Morocco tour from Tangier begins with pickup from your hotel, airport, or port in Tangier. The road heads south through the beautiful Rif Mountains, with changing landscapes and wide mountain views along the way.

Before reaching Chefchaouen, you may stop at Akchour, known for its green valley and fresh mountain scenery. Continue to Chefchaouen, where you will have time to explore the blue-painted medina, walk through its peaceful streets, and visit Ras El Ma and the viewpoint near the Spanish Mosque.

Later, continue toward Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most important Roman archaeological sites. After exploring the ruins, drive on to Fes for overnight stay in a riad.

After breakfast, leave Fes and begin the journey south toward the Sahara. The first stop is Ifrane, a quiet mountain town known for its clean streets, cool weather, and alpine-style architecture.

Continue through the cedar forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques often gather among the trees. After passing Midelt, the road gradually descends through the impressive Ziz Valley, with panoramic views over palm groves and oasis landscapes.

By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where your camel guide will be waiting. Begin your camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, stop to watch the sunset, and continue to your desert camp. Dinner and overnight under the stars.

Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the desert dunes, then return from camp after breakfast. The route continues to Rissani, an old desert town known for its traditional market and historical importance in the Tafilalet region.

Next, travel toward Todra Gorge, passing palm groves, rocky landscapes, and small desert villages. Once there, take time to walk through the canyon and enjoy one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco.

After lunch, continue toward Dades Valley, famous for its winding roads and unusual rock formations. Visit the viewpoints around the valley before overnight stay in a guesthouse or kasbah.

After breakfast, continue through the Valley of Roses and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna and pass through the palm groves of Skoura, where you may visit Kasbah Amridil, one of the best-known kasbahs in the region.

Continue to Ouarzazate, then on to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage site. After visiting the ksar, cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Today you discover Marrakech with a local guide. Visit some of the city’s best-known landmarks, including Majorelle Garden, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the old medina.

Walk through the souks of Marrakech, explore traditional artisan areas, and end the tour in Jemaa el-Fna, where musicians, food stalls, and street performances create the city’s famous atmosphere. Transfer to your hotel or airport at the end of the day.
