Your 4-day Morocco desert tour from Errachidia to Marrakech begins with a pickup from Errachidia Airport or your hotel.

The journey heads south through the impressive landscapes of the Ziz Valley, known for its long stretches of palm groves and traditional villages. After a stop at a panoramic viewpoint, the road continues to Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and dates. Here you may visit a local fossil workshop.

In the afternoon, continue toward Merzouga, where the first dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. Upon arrival, check in to a charming riad or hotel near the dunes and enjoy a peaceful evening in the desert. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.

After breakfast, begin exploring the fascinating desert region around Merzouga.

The day starts with a 4x4 desert excursion, visiting Khamlia village, known for its traditional Gnawa music, brought to Morocco centuries ago by Sub-Saharan communities. You will have the opportunity to enjoy their unique rhythms and learn about their culture.

Next, travel behind the dunes to meet nomadic families living in the Sahara, where you can share a glass of tea and learn about their traditional lifestyle. In this area you may also taste the famous Berber pizza (Madfouna).

In the late afternoon, return to the dunes to begin your camel trek across Erg Chebbi. As the camels slowly walk through the sand, you will stop on a high dune to admire the sunset over the Sahara desert.

After sunset, arrive at your desert camp, where dinner is served under the stars. In the evening, enjoy Berber music around the campfire before spending the night in your Sahara tent.

Wake early to experience the peaceful sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return by camel to Merzouga village where your driver will be waiting.

The journey then continues to Rissani, a historic town once known as an important trading center of the Tafilalet region. Here you can visit the traditional souk and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif.

From Rissani, travel toward Todra Gorge, passing through desert landscapes and small Berber villages. The gorge is famous for its impressive canyon walls rising up to 300 meters high. You will have time to walk through the gorge and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

In the afternoon, continue through the scenic Dades Valley, known for its rock formations and beautiful landscapes. The route then reaches Kalaat M’Gouna, also called the Rose Valley, where roses are cultivated for perfumes and cosmetics.

Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Kalaat M’Gouna or the Dades Valley.

After breakfast, travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a historic route once used by caravan traders.

The first stop is Skoura Oasis, where you can visit the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil, one of the most beautiful kasbahs in southern Morocco.

Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa due to its famous film studios and desert movie locations. Afterward, visit the impressive Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most famous fortified villages in Morocco.

After exploring the kasbah and enjoying lunch, the road climbs into the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 meters). The winding road offers breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and Berber villages.

By late afternoon or evening, arrival in Marrakech, where your 4-day desert tour from Errachidia to Marrakech ends with a transfer to your accommodation or the airport.
