Your 2 day desert tour from Ouarzazate begins with an early pickup from your hotel or the airport. The journey heads east through beautiful desert landscapes and oasis villages.

The first major stop is the impressive Todra Gorge, where the river carved a spectacular canyon with towering rock walls. Here you will have time to walk through the gorge and enjoy the scenery.

After lunch along the route, continue through the oasis towns of Touroug and Tinjdad toward the Sahara.

By late afternoon you arrive in Merzouga, where the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise dramatically from the desert. Here you begin your camel trek across the dunes, stopping along the way to admire the sunset over the Sahara.

Arrive at the desert camp, where dinner is served followed by traditional Berber music around the campfire under a star-filled sky.

Wake early to enjoy the unforgettable sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga where your driver will meet you.

The journey continues to Rissani, once the capital of the Tafilalet region and still home to a lively traditional market.

Next stop is Erfoud, known for fossil workshops and date palm plantations. From here the road follows the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful palm oases.

After lunch in Midelt, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in the cedar forests where Barbary macaques often gather.

Before arriving in Fes, visit Ifrane, a charming town known for its alpine-style houses, cool climate, and peaceful parks.

Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon with transfer to your accommodation or the airport.
